Individuals can file complaints or claims to the Central Inspection against administrations falling within its remit, or against the employees or workers of these administrations, for investigation and establishment of facts.

The proposal of the Prime Minister, after the approval of the Board of the Civil Service Council, as per Decision No. 405 of 8/3/199-
After consulting with the State Shura Council (Opinion No.163/96 of 22/5/1996)
And after the approval of the Council of Ministers during its session of 5/6/1996
Hereby decides the following:
An Information Technology Department shall be established in the Central Inspection, under the Central Inspection Secretariat, which shall undertake the following tasks:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT system for the Central Inspection to support the work of its units, departments and inspectorates-general.
- Store, coordinate and retrieve various information to facilitate the process of preparing and making appropriate decisions.
- Carry out statistical work of all kinds, in cooperation with the competent agencies, each in its field of work, to assist in the planning and development process.
- Exchange information digitally with various departments within the legally prescribed limits.
The functions of the aforementioned department and the qualifications of its members shall be determined in accordance with the table attached to this decree.
The appointment of technical staff in the department created under Article 1 of this decree shall be subject to an examination based on educational degrees organized by the Civil Service Board. In addition to the special conditions specified in the table attached to this decree, the candidate must meet the general conditions for appointment stipulated in Article (4) of Legislative Decree No. 112 of 6/12/1959.
